LEGO2NANO has posted a neat project describing how to build an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) with LEGOs and an Arduino controller. The website shows an overview for how to make the LEGO AFM but a lot of details appear to be missing. LEGO2NANO is a project taught in China-UK summer schools at Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the University College London.
