The following links will take you to many high quality lectures and reference material on nanotechnoloy.
- Cornell's Nanobiotechnology course online.
- MIT courses intro MIT has 1100 courses online for free! This is awesome!
- MIT course list
- MIT Nanocourse
- The textbook for the MIT nanocourse is: Nanoscale Energy Transport and Conversion: A Parallel Treatment of Elections, Molecules, Phonons, and Photons (Mit-Pappalardo Series in Mechanical Engineering) by Gang Chen. The book is very well written (based on the first chapter). The first two lectures are poorly recorded but the remaining lectures recordings are of high quality.
- Stanford has a certificate program in Nanoscale Materials Science from the Materials Science and Engineering department available from the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD) online class room, Courses include:
- The Rutgers University Materials Science and Engineering department as I understand it has a undergraduate nanomaterials program with a strong lab component.
- Princeton University has a program in materials sciences
- The Princeton Center for Complex Materials has a number of workshops and symposia throughout the year. The PCCM-RHODIA symposium in November was very well done.
- NJIT Materials Science and Engineering department offers degrees in material science.
- Stevens webcampus
- Stevens Institute of Technology has an array of nanotechnology research activities.
